In my opinion, Frankford & Southern really don't need them.

Frankford needs more buses. When the Arrott Terminal starts with the elevator project, I suspect the 59 and 75 will be bused. The project will be of long duration and the detours would have a lot of trackless EPU running time. It's going to be hard to get in and out of Arrott Terminal, for all routes. Big construction equipment will be in the way.So the smart thing would be to bus the lines.

Of course, this will be entirely up to SEPTA.

I heard they may keep some of the NABI's for this purpose.

Information I received from a very reliable source within bus operations told me that during Arrott Terminal construction all the routes that service that location may be re-routed to serve Frankford Transportation Center keeping the connection with the EL. Apparently wire work along Frankford Ave needs to be done first as well as finding berths for the 89, J, and K.
