Trust me, it works "a little too well". Thats a pretty old trick and its mainly used in street races!! Their initial acceleration isn't too bad though! I see that trick used often with the artics, to help with the turbo lag issue! That is an old trick a friend of mine who drives for the Kansas City ATA showed me back when Kansas City was notorious for their RTS's. Their 1986 GMC RTS's had horrible turbo lag and he showed me that trick and every bus he drives, that is exactly what he does. He is NEVER late on any of his runs.
