7215 is TECHNICALLY a 7/68E/BSO Nightliner that starts at 7, DH to 33rd St, Does two and a half on the 7, Takes a 35 minute lunch at the District, DH to UPS, 3 rounds on the Express then finishes Starting out at UPS at 3.51, Continues at B&O as a BSO to the Rock, then DH back home, off at 5.20.

Oh no, the grip of management & their desire to work the living daylights out of SEPTA City Transit Division personnel has stretched down to Southern depot as well.

7215:block: a run on the 7, in conjunction with the 68E & BSO?

I thought Southern personnel, for the most part, had operators who worked runs with solid runs at a 9.5 hour minimum(i.e, 4 roudtrips on a late on the 17) & only one route(unless a school tripper, like a trip on the 409 in the afternoon factored into a late on the 64 is factored into the equation). I didn't think that Southern operators worked more than 2 routes at a time(like a trip on the 17, turning into either a 2 or G for the remainder of the run & nothing more).

The "two & three route thing" within an 8 hour period, that stemmed from the management & their desire to work the crap out of Suburban Transit Operators.

Unfortunately, many runs assigned to Callowhill, Allegheny & Midvale have had their run times reduced & have had more routes added onto one run, & the weekday straights have been slashed to swings.

For example, 23, 3104 block, comes out as an early & as many as 2 or 3 operators make relief on this one block). There are runs on several Allegheny & Callowhill routes that have operators make relief as much as three times.

I was just thinking about the last time I rode The Bastard.......The Thursday before christmas on the BSO after pulling a double at the UnderPaid Slavehouse. We had a idiot on 7215, Dumped everyone at Broad and Oregon then Deadheaded up Broad to City Hall forcing about 50 people who was on 7215 and a additional 40 who was on his follower, 7686 to that one owl, 3554. I managed to Squeeze on and get a seat, but didn't get far cause the suspension gave at South Street from Overloading.

What great times.........
Speaking of 5251, everytime i see that bus it is speeding when deaheading. And I always see it on the weekends until last friday. Last time I saw the bastard, It was resting at the Citgo gas station at Rising sun and Olney avenues. And that was the day of the Trackless Trolley charter.

Here it is speeding down broad street. Probaly came off one of those half southern half midvale routes.

When I mean the bus was going fast it was going fast.

And there are guys who love those Long, late night money runs.

Despite being retired, 4 Neos are parked outside Frankford. They are 3482, 3419, one unknown, and 3428. Looks like they'll be hauled off soon.

A push and pull set is being towed away by a diesel locomotive right now from fern rock station . I am looking out my window. Sorry I did not get the number because I am too far away and it is too dark. The push and pull set would have been the great valley flyer.

Interesting. For as long as i've seen this bus, 7244 always had this little pocket in front, much unlike the other 154 Neo artics of the fleet. On other cities Neo artics, theres this little door in this location. you can see what I mean here:

Now that 7244 is overhauled, that little pocket is gone, and the front is completely smooth! Wonder how they did it?

Also, 5325 is a very slow bus! Put that with a slow driver, and it takes forever to get home!
