I think whoever started the rumor that Bmore MTAs 9430s and 9500 Flxibles had Series 50 made that up since it was confirmed they have Series 60. The same person started to assume Bmore MTAs New Flyer D40LFs had Cummins ISL even though they all have ISM. The ISL doesnt even sound anything like MTAs D40LFs. It sounds like MTAs NABIs on New Flyer D40LF(R)s. And partly like the ISC on Gillig Advantages.

The low 1700's [1700-1721] ran out of Newton Avenue. They were fixtures on the 450 thru 457 routes, with an occasional visit to the 404/407 lines.
Thanks. For some reason I thought Washington Twp because I had a old pic from several years ago where a 1700 was working the 412 to Glassboro.

That picture was possible because Newton Ave will send a bus out to cover a Wash Twp. route if there is a breakdown [or most likely a bus switch due to mechanical difficulties] in Camden.
