Due to power failure, there is no service on the Market-Frankford Line between Frankford Transportation Center and Erie-Torresdale Station. Shuttle buses from Comly, Midvale & Frankford are handling the work. YES! Shuttle buses between Frankford Transportation Center and Erie-Torresdale Station and between 40th Street Station and 69th Street Terminal. So if you got to go to 69th Street from the NE to go to work, you're screwed! Later, Marcus |

In the early years of SEPTA, at times, there could be as many as 2 failures every 4 hours, & perhaps, the BSO & MFL went down at the same time. As for the "over the top" routing, whenever a streetcar broke down, up until the advent of the Kawasaki cars, that was to be expected anytime, anyday, even on a Sunday. It appears that were slowly having to lean back to this. It's awlays good to have a fresh pair or walking shoes. Leave home an hour early & expect the worst. |
