I was hoping a NABI would come on the 32 but the trip I caught was 5728. Which is a 04 New Flyer with Series 50. Plus Im sure more NABIs run on weekdays then on weekends since few buses run on weekends then on weekdays. But to my knowledge only 80 of the NABIs have been retired. Which will be even fewer NABIs seen on the weekends. I did see a few while I was in Philly. Like 5153 at Norristown Transit Center. And a couple other NABIs in the center city. And I did see many NABIs in the Upper Darby base.
according to the "current assignments" page, only 11 "bricks" (nabi's) are "officially retired". some of callowhill's "bricks" (which had some of the lowest numbered vehicles in the nabi fleet) were moved to southern depot a while bcak and are still in service.

My pal Tony from Midvale mentioned Midvale is due to get 60 delivered next month and they are already training Midvale operators to use them too.

Comly's supposed to get some more hybrids with the upcoming batch, as well as Frankford and Midvale

My pal on the 32 mentioned to me on Thursday he got trained to operate this new bus and he mentions its engine is smaller than the ones on D40LFs and that the whole right side will lower itself when putting wheelchair bound or senior passengers onto the bus and any day Midvale should get their first batch of these buses. He also already mentioned to me that Midvale is getting 60 in this batch of New Flyer DE41LFs.

I saw 8206 on the 104 today in West Chester. Nice to see the new buses out my way.

I think it's pretty straight forward and boring... Midvale (60), Comly (10), Frankford (10), and Southern (40). There's your 120 units right there...Frankford would get them just for evaluation proposes...

In my opinion, Frankford & Southern really don't need them.

Midvale needs them the most, & if Midvale gets their batch, they'll be able to phase out more than half of their NABI fleet & I can kiss the 5000s from Callowhill that raidated over to Midvale goodbye.

If Southern gets their group, maybe they can do away with their 5300s.

If Southern & Frankford don't get their batches, Midvale would have 110 & that would completely rid them of NABIs, with 3 spare NF DE 41s & give the maintenance & mechanichal personnel something to look forward to coming to work for daily:

a. a new bus that doesn't need much fixing
b. a new bus with the clean smell without the scratchitti.
