The route 75 de-poled at that hard turn right turn, right turn ,switch twice today That's where the 59 goes across then turns northward, the 75 make the hard tun to go south on Oxford. The first time the pole got caught in the wire, the wire truck had to come to the rescue with a pole puller. I observed another 75 de-pole at the same switch,. This switch must be bad. Chuck Greene |

Man, that is an messed-up switch. I thought the e40s would monitor that and have the poles automatically go down. The e40s in Vancouver (TransLink) have that feature. Shouldn't we have that?! |

The Current Collector/de-pole system is in the Philly trackless here. The problem is if the poles are more than 10 degrees sideways, the automatic pole drop will not work. Whether that was the case with that switch I mentioned at that time, I do not know. Chuck |
