Do you guys think who buys them? I think is Krapf or New Jersey Transit. I saw 448 on the 61 last month.

Its too bad DARTs 99 Gilligs were not Phantoms with Series 50. Those 5 listed could have been scrapped for repair the 99s if they were Phantoms instead of Advantages. I just saw bus 421 will be sracp, and I just maked a Video of 421 on a towrd track to south I-95 to the sracp yerd in state of VA. There are olny 14 buses to go. but they take 5 buses off the sale yerd and they will add 10 more of Gillig Phantom to the sale yard becuase 5 of them don't run and send them to the sracp yard. 10 of them are already sold out.

They scrap them to the bone and once they are completely scrapped they are shipped to NIMCO in NJ to be crushed. That goes for buses retired and replaced with new buses. Or any bus retired due to damage. But luckily with DART being a small TA they are not as often losing buses due to major damage as TAs like WMATA, Bmore MTA, and SEPTA.

The King of Transit Warrior Fan Posts: 223 Group: Members Member #94 Joined: July 13, 2006	There are 23 buses are going to state of CA, I just make a lot of videos of Gillig Phantom buses are going to state of CA for fare well Gillig Phantoms. The King of Transit Warrior Fan Posts: 223 Group: Members Member #94 Joined: July 13, 2006	I log on Transit Sales International website and i find out an ex-DART Gillig Phantom buses head it to state of CA since April 1.
