http://philadelphiaareatraction.com/index.htm Maybe you've seen it? It's cool, has lots of photos of all types of new and old Septa equipment (try and find the pic of 8143 and the other pic of a neoplan next to a pcc!)

I want this tape, hope get it as a Christmas present!: http://www.trainstation.com/mfse1.shtml?mgiToken=LDR55X999D3

I miss the old livery so much it is not even funny. It looked great on the K cars with the thick stripe.

The thick stripe didn't look good on the PCCs.

Wow. I was talking about a different photo, didn't even see that one! Miss the Neoplans and M3's a lot. :(

And that photo has a ripple back! Those were my favorite Neo's back in the day. Loved riding them, and always looked for them

What is that thing on top of that Neoplan? Some test air conditioner device?

Frankford and it's past. The old Bridge-Pratt, Neos and Budds.

Sutrak AC unit. A good portion of the AK and BD model Neos had them early on, but most got swapped out with the Thermo King AC.

Classic Neos.........Classic Almond Joys..........I miss them.............

As do I. The classic stripe below the window with the grey window trim looked so good on the Neos.

I agree. Ditto with the NABIs. I remember the late 5155 had the dark trim.

I wonder how the NABI's and New Flyers would look with them...

The PCC looked better with a Thin stripe. 5155 still has the black trim in the Midvale scrap yard. And yes the NEO days and the M3 days were the bomb. Then the nabi's came and started a new era.

I believe 8546 was the only bus that had this different & peculiar air conditioning unit. I first rode it on the K in the summer of 1988.

The Neoplan An440's with the 80's scheme looked like an arcade machine or a sega game console or something.
