Foamer Posts: 2,480 Group: Admin Member #1 Joined: February 16, 2005	Must Read Before Replying!! Well there's misconception of what to post in the Daily Sightings thread. Most of the older members who were on the guestbook had a better idea as to which sightings to post and which sightings not to post. For example, anything like 5922 deadheading to Allegheny or spotted on the route 65 is not really worthy to be posted in these threads. Or 5251/7101 spotted on any given midvale/comly route. (There's nothing new nor exciting about these posts). This will be a fresh new start!!

The 113-119 Spotter Posts: 1,141 Group: Members Member #2,623 Joined: June 11, 2008	Saw 8046-7551-not in service yesterday. Wasn't 8046 burned to a crisp? The 8046 I saw looked just like the other flyers.

Advanced Transit Fan Posts: 448 Group: Members Member #640 Joined: June 15, 2007	In a previous post 5700 was seen on 31. I rode it yesterday on 21 in the AM so it must be assigned to Callowhill temporarily. Saw 5062 on 12 today - unusual in that 5062 was moved from Comly and 12 almost always gets low floors.

That's odd, since I'm fairly certain 5062 was at Frontier for a while. Speaking of Frontier buses, Chump 2071 was running on the 314 for Krap(f)s this morning. They've had a lot of problems in recent weeks trying to make schedules on the 204, 205, 306, and 314, to the point where several Krap(f)s buses (not the 5 low-floor Internationals used mainly on the 205 and 306, but rather cutaways in Krap(f)s colors which operate on routes such as Coatesville Link, SCCOOT, etc) were operating on 306 and 314. On one day last month, we even had a Chester County Paratransit System van (#100) in the old CCPS livery - not the newer "Rover" livery - on the 314. Suffice to say that Krap(f)s track record on maintaining the Chumps are not that great.

The 8046 I saw looked just like the other flyers. Well it also said 44-5654 38-7200 It is likely you wrote it down with the error! If Southern still has 8046 then it will bound to pop up on the G! That's the exact reason why we DO NOT REMOVE buses off of the current assignments page unless officially verified. In this case, it could have started as a bad rumor that 8046 was it and then spread. However, it was reported that it was towed to Midvale Scrap yard! Edited by Van2006ko, Dec 17 2008, 06:18 PM.
