The purpose of this forum is to discuss issues related to the history, present, and future of public transportation in the Delaware Valley area. Pointless posts, threads, and trivia (especially those with multiple correct answers) will not be tolerated. You must be posting content of substance and importance. "LOL" is not a sufficient post and such posts will be deleted as soon as a moderator sees them. You will also lose one karma point for each such post. Also, please put posts in the appropriate categories. For example, posts about where the next new hybrid should arrive shouldn't be placed in the general history section. If you aren't quite sure, don't hesitate to ask the moderators for advice. Personal, back-and-forth discussion is also not permitted on the forums. There is a Private Message function to be used when attempting to communicate with someone one-on-one. If you have a comment about someone's post that falls outside of the actual subject, please send a private message. This is not a prohibition on enjoyment and expression, but rather an effort to keep the content here valuable. Few things are more annoying than visiting the forums and seeing "New Post" icons thinking there's new, exciting content, only to find posts of no actual value. Photos are allowed to be posted here but meet following criteria: 1) Avatars must not exceed 120pixels width, and 120 pixels height. Also, Signatures must not to exceed 480 pixels width and 200 pixels height. (As a common courtesy to our viewers) 2) Copyright infringement (edited photos) will not be tolerated on this site. If a member posts edited photos, then it must be their own photos or written permission via the photographers. for now own there are now exceptions!! Philadelphia Transit Vehicles or "PTV" will not be held liable for the posting of doctored photos where the photographers are not credited. These rules are subject to change at any time but must still be adhered at all times. Moderators and administrators reserve the right to remove posts and prescribe other actions for violations not explicitly mentioned herein. We also reserved the right to ban/or delete any member no questions asked. These are the rules - Effective immediately!!
