Before the Oddball page gets updated, does anybody have a new bus or rail vehicle they want to nominate to be on the Oddball page? Before you answer a transit vehicle can not be on the oddball page because of an advertisement, acceleration, seats, and in that case drivers seats. Ex. 5724 (FOR NOW) What can be nominated is a vehicle that has an odd product (that passengers rely on) that did not come with the order of buses and must be permanent until the vehicle retires. Sorry for the late response. The pages have been updated. With the addition of 666, and 2308. http://www.philadelphiatransitvehicles.info/oddballs.php Anyone know where I can find or has good pics of 269? Does anybody think the pioneer III cars are good candidates along with the Comet 1's for the page? Edited by TRANSIT_FREAK, Mar 15 2009, 12:29 AM.

It has an DD50 EGR... And I want to nominate buses 5599 and 5600... but the reason goes against what was just said... Also, the Comet I's would be good seeing how they are one of a fleet |

this is why i said "but the reason goes against what was just said." Buses 5599 and 5600 has the modern seating like in the 5713+, 8000 series, and the Hybrids. Whereas the the rest of the 02 New FLyer D40lfs have the seating like the NABIs and Neoplan Artics |

Weren't those the test buses to receive those seats before the 5700's arrived? I think it would only matter if it was appearance on the exterior of the bus. What about the pioneer III cars and comet 1's? Does anybody think those should be added? Edited by TRANSIT_FREAK, Mar 15 2009, 07:38 PM.

Those two was the testbeds for the new seats, even when they was still at Southern in the pre-8000 days. As for the Pioneers, those fall under Retired even if there was only a very small number of them. The CI's however would fall next to 8590 as Oddball/Historical, since they'll probably be the oldest Comets still running, and the only 7 still ran with Electrics, but still be incompatible with the rest of the Bombers (bloody MMC prats). |

SEPTA could have least ordered a few white LED signs, but those are way to expensive. As for 9017 being an oddball, lets see what happens within the next few months. Edited by TRANSIT_FREAK, Mar 21 2009, 08:17 PM.

Poll added, make sure you leave a reason why the Comets should be added. |
