I believe the Comets should be added because:

a) It wasn't a SEPTA order
b) There are so few of them in the fleet, so they are unique!
c) It's an interesting part of the fleet to point out to transit fans.

I think Victory still has 2 DELRV Kawasaki cars that still have the side destination sign curtains in the cases. The side signs were removed from these cars sometime towards the end of the late 1990s or sometime in 2000.

Isn't one of them numbered 118?

Aren't there a couple sets of M4 cars that received new seating arrangements?

And perhaps, all of the SELRV Kawasaki cars that got to keep their as delivered sign curtains on both the front & the side.

Do they qualify?

Hmm, new seating arrangements on the MFL? Are you talking about the ones that had the USSC seats during the "new seat testing period" (they have been replaced with the standard American Seating found on the rest of the fleet) or were seats switched around somewhere?

In regards to the K-cars, I would think it would be cool to add the two that still have their side sign curtains (do they work?), but we might be getting a little too technical with the ones with the "original signs". Would be kind of like adding 5424 - it wouldn't be easy for most people to point out the difference.

I guess I was referring to that particular seating arrangement. I get your drift.

How about the one N 5 car that got a seat taken out for wheelchair accessiblity?(143 or 147)?

In terms of the N5s, all of the cars are getting the new wheelchair accessibility seating arrangement (at a rapid pace!), so they won't remain oddballs. Two benches on the "big door sides" of the car were replaced with new benches that fold up to allow wheelchair bound passengers to have a safe space in the car.

Weren't those the test buses to receive those seats before the 5700's arrived?

I think it would only matter if it was appearance on the exterior of the bus.

What about the pioneer III cars and comet 1's? Does anybody think those should be added?
5599 and 5600 were actually fitted with those seats before the 56xx series hybrids were delivered. Outside of 5601H and 5602H, the entire hybrid fleet has USSC seats.

I would point them out as oddballs, as, well, they are odd in terms of the SEPTA fleet. However, we need pictures of the interior before posting it on the site. You can tell 5599 and 5600 apart from the rest because they have the old style of flooring with the USSC seats, where everything else has the new flooring.

If all SE K-cars receive the LED signs with an exception of one, that trolley ( with roll sign) will become an oddball. If SEPTA decides to back out on the order of LED's for the K-cars and 9017 keeps the sign, then it becomes an oddball.

It's the same thing that happened to 5251.

126 is one of the K-cars with a side destination sign still intact. I believe 109 is the other one.

4552 is my stalker. It caught fire in April of 2007 and was out of service for almost 2 years being repaired.

Do passengers need it 100% of the time?

Before you answer a transit vehicle can not be on the oddball page because of an advertisement, acceleration, seats, and in that case drivers seats. Ex. 5724 (FOR NOW)

What can be nominated is a vehicle that has an odd product (that passengers rely on) that did not come with the order of buses and must be permanent until the vehicle retires.
