^^^ My sister needs a copy Posts: 1,647 Group: Members Member #2,659 Joined: September 22, 2008	I went to Germantown this morning at 9 am and saw the following: 8221, 8222, 8223, 8224, 8225, 8226, 8227 and 8229. If any of you see a new hybrid in revenue service before I do, then I guess you can post it here. I was told that they will be active within a matter of days or weeks

They were out there before? I went to Broad and Erie and I saw zero hybrids operating on the 56...or any midvale route for that matter

These buses were resting in the parking lot at Germantown for several months before they were placed into service. I agree about 8231, as of this date, it has not been placed into service. In fact, during the time when it was reported, it was reported to still be in MI getting work done on the bus. Edited by Van2006ko, May 12 2009, 11:22 AM.

Actually, Quite often. 5790 was there for mechanical issues, some of the Older Hybrids were there for mechanical issues... and also, if the hybrids aren't at Germantown for mechanical issues, then why are they there? :o

I'm guessing that the status of 8231 is a Mystery, but we'll find out soon enough of it's loaction ;)

And it smells good and the ride was a lot like a TRACKLESS TROLLEY!!! 8224 and 8225 are also serving route C this morning. ^^^ My sister needs a copy Posts: 1,647 Group: Members Member #2,659 Joined: September 22, 2008	Midvale: 8223-8226, 8228 To my surprise, 8223 was not really as cold as the Comly and Callowhill hybrids that I'm used to. The acceleration was quick and sudden, like the 5600s and it felt like it had no 2nd or 3rd gear shifts (in speed), therefore giving it the feel of a trackless trolley.
