I wonder where they are going to berth it at FTC?
FTC is kind of out of spots.

When I was doing work for my project a few weeks ago, I heard about Rt.72. This will mean that Septa serves the majority of Cheltenham Ave from the bottom up to Willow Grove Ave. Wonder if it will use 40ft buses?

If it's going to be based at Frankford (as I would suspect to be the case), then I would think you'd see 40 ft buses on the 72. I'm a little surprised that it's only going to operated between 0900-1500, but it's a start.

does the 3 have two berths? If it does I guess they could fit 72 in there.

Sorta... it has two stops, but one of them is doesn't have a shelter
Maybe the route 72 could sit south of the route 14 stop?

We can think all we want, the bottom line is my Frankford Operators don't know what they are going to do with the 72. SEPTA will figure something out.

From the link posted at the start of this topic

While all-day service would be preferred, it is recommended to initially operate Route 72 daily between the hours of 9 am and 3 pm. This would significantly reduce the route’s operating cost and would provide a good gauge for future ridership potential

It's military time as much as I can't understand it, I hate it.

Ah, thanks. I missed that.

FYI, I used to hate Military Time, too. Just remember this..

0000 = Midnight
0600 = 6am
1200 = 12pm NOON
1800 = 6pm
2359 = 11:59pm

Any time after 1200, just subtract 1200. So, 1300-1200= 1pm.

Since they say Penn St it would not start at the 3's berth. Don't forget also they can have 2 routes share a berth like the 8 and 26The 19 does not run often they can share a berth there. But SEPTA has the final say.
