Talked to a Victory supervisor who is a father of one of the students at the school I teach at. Victory is retaining 4 or 5 Eldorafos for use primarily on the 103 and 107. Victory is reportedly getting 5934-5950 from Midvale due to their delivery of hybrids. This is also supposed to take affect with the schedule change Monday. Sunday 6/13 there will be two waves of Eldorados being moved to Frontier in the AM. I aksed why Frontier needed so many Eldorados and he was not sure. He did tell me SEPTA is not happy with the wear and tear on the Champions......so who knows. |

Jeez the last thing Frontier need is more Eldorados. There is a bus shortage at Frontier with Eldorados breaking down everywhere therefore needing more of them. What they should do is send some 40 footers up to Frontier instead. Also that could explain that I saw a NABI on the 103 during the day on Thursday. One of the high seniority drivers had a nabi on there. Which in my opinion after riding on the 103 for 20 months has rarely occured. |

OMG! This move is so bizzarre...Frontier does NOT need so many El Dorados, lol. We already have about 25 or so. Now, the Champions have been holding up well - they are 5 year old cutaways after all, running daily rigorous service. The Fords at this time were NOT anywhere near as good. Maybe this would result in more service on the smaller bus routes...and may even help out with the overhaul of the Champions. Hopefully they could move a couple of champions to places so that they can retire the remaining Fords. |

Give the champions to midvale for the 35! Midvale can destroy them. |

5939 and 5949 are still have the T-Mobile wraps, those buses will have to stay at midvale until the contract ends. |

What's to say that Bus Ops wraps a pair of Slugs for T-Mobile? Or a pair of 5600's? Or a Snake? |

These actions probably serve as an indication that ridership patterns on Victory routes have increased, & that the operators were getting sick of getting Eldorados to fill in rush hour runs on routes 108, 110, 112 & 113. |

I don't want to hear anyone complain about more ElDorados at Frontier... I'd rather have those buses than the Chumps on the 92. Still, that is a little odd that the ElDorados are all being shipped out of Red Arrow. Just wondering how that impacts the new 115 (with the 305 routing tacked on). |

:'( :'( Dust to dust,Ashes to ashes,A few of my fav Eldorados are leaving me,And all is not good in the SEPTA world. :'( :'( I rather have the Eldorados then a few more New Flyers!!! We have enough!!!! On a different thought.....if the chumps are going....chumps = eldorados, eldorados = flyers, flyers = hybrids, does that mean that the 416s are staying a lil longer? Cause SEPTA will be down 30-35 buses with the chumps going. |

Well it is happening: Just rode 5946 on the 104 - the 12:14 from Newtown Square While riding I could I have swore I saw 8227 on the 123 to KoP but it was probably 8207. Spotted it going the other direction at the last second. |

You sure it wasnt 8201? I was on 8201 earlier and saw 5946 on the 104! 8201 has some serious transmission issues, it doesnt know which "gear" range to select. Making the bus have horrible acceleration on the 476. Also 8121 is pretty slow but the driver tricked the diesel into coming right on! |

It could have been 8201.....but I still swear I read 8227, but who knows as I get older the eyes play tricks 5941 on the 110 on the 4:45 trip to Penn St. |
