So with 80 out of 140(I think) of the 2009 New Flyer DE41LFs being delivered to (20) 8280-8299 Allegheny and (60) (8220 is the predecessor of the 2009 batch) 8220-8279 Midvale. Who is next to receive Frankford or Southern or possibly again Comly? I would assume Southern because they got a good amount of 50XX NABIs still in service. But of course I could maybe see Comly receiving some more to send some Artic NEOs to Southern for them to run on the high ridership routes such as the 17 temporarily (to see if Artic Neos can run on the 17) and possibly the 47 (but that is a route split with Midvale so who knows). But since Frankford only has like 5 50XX NABIs i could assume they might get it also so at least Septa can start on the 51XX after getting rid of all the 50XX quickly as possible.

But Anything could happen with Septa, and we will see all the Neoplans come back in to service and replace the New Flyers overnight. And 5155 will return from the dead only with the permission of buzwizard.

I have heard information that the rest of the 2009 order will be arriving mid to late August. When this occurs there is to be a semi-major bus swap involving all districts prior to the September picking start date (9/6 or 9/7). Per a reliable Victory source both Callowhill and Victory are to receive 10-15 each of the 2009 hybrids.

Also SEPTA's goal is to have the majority of 5000 and 5100 series NABIs retired by September. I am not quite sure that is possible until the 2010 order starts.

Well if that happens, Southern shouldn't get a lot. They've been getting the big slice of cake for far too long now. Victory and Allegheny is my bet. If not Allegheny, then possibly Comly.

could be another batch for Comly. I heard that Comly was going to be a 100% hybrid/artic depot at some point.

Well just receive a report that 8300-8303 are going to Allegheny, so they could receive 25 or over. 5907-5910 has been reassigned/loan to Victory. Allegheny has to send the 58xx and 59xx somewhere to retire the NABIs. I still do not think Frankford is set to receive any.

I would think that Frankford would get the first part of the 8360-and-up order when that batch starts delivery. I don't think that Frankford has too many older NABIs assigned there.

Van2006ko thank you for your well-reliable information. With the NABIs there is good news and bad news. Half the 50XX NABIs are retired, but the bad news is Southern has 14 50XX NABIs still in service and no DE41LFs have arrived for Southern. Victory only have 6 50XX NABIs so maybe they will receive 10 DE41LFs to cancel their 50XX NABIs. And Comly has 11 50XX NABIs so I can see Comly getting 15 DE41LFs to cancel their 50XX NABIs. Also Frankford have 5 50XX NABIs in service, so maybe they will receive 10 DE41LFs Which leaves us with possibly 25 DE41LFs from the 2009 Batch. But all the NABIs won't be officially retired until 2011-2012 when at least 350-400 DE41LFs have arrived to replace them. Because if all the NABIs were retired tomorrow there would be a bus shortage.

I talked to a trackless operater on the 59, septa_kid knows him. And he said they are going to get more NABIs and no hybrids from the 2009 order.
