these new signs might be like the NABIs, they'd be cool at first, but then after a while people will just want them gone... (i'm not one of those people but you get the point)

I maybe one of those of those people (no offense, SEPTAKid) I kinda like the new flashers on the K Cars, only one problem, the sign near the back doors (like 9017) is not double sided!!! Woodland and Elmwood-- what were they thinking?!

u know... i never noticed that.... then again... i don't pay too much attention to detail... all the time... it doesn't matter to me since i rarely am downtown (or west philly) durring the summer to even see a trolley anyway... I just wish that SEPTA didn't skrew up those NABIs so bad... the way they ran in the 90's is completely different than the way they ran in say 2005... i still like them because the way they sound... minus the AC crap they're pretty quiet for diesel buses... but that's a topic for another day...

um... will the KAWASAKI cars with the new LED signs also have the working interior Dest/stop request/stop announcing/announcement system? or is that a separate process?

I didn't see the images because you linked to the page that contained the image instead of the actual image... anyway, i wish we had displays with more color... like... like new Silverliner Vs will have... except... with different colors local and express routes, and then a light blue color for regular routes... i.e route 56 would be light blue because there isn't a local/express version of it.... then the 66 Express would be... Red.... 66 local would be Yellow? something like that

Ooh that would be purely cool to have multicolored LED signs on New Flyers and other buses/railcars alike. I say default orange for regular service and neon blue for express service. Perhaps green for express too. BTW I love grapefruit! :)

Spotted today at 40-Woodland: 9017, 9052, and 9057, three of the four known K-Cars with the LED signs (in addition to 9099).

9057 seems to be the newest addition to the LED sign list.

9095 has one as well, so we have the sensational six. I spotted it on the 34 today.
