Those cars are overweight to. I can't imagine what the crews are going throught right now to jack up that car.

Sorry to hear about that one. It seems every other day, someone either gets hit or killed by a SEPTA vehicle.

Interesting, rumors were saying it was a suicide... If it was a suicide, the lady picked the worst time to do it for commuters, which kinda lowers the sympathy level. Market Street, which is usually overcrowded, ended up being a mess. My 33 bus turned into an El Shuttle to Spring Garden Station right at 15th Street. Comly sent down 7106, and you could see other depots such as Frankford running the "Emergency Services" shuttle as well.

If she fell in, then oh my goodness!

Those cars are overweight to. I can't imagine what the crews are going throught right now to jack up that car.
Weight aside, there's not even any head room for the cars to be jacked up at all!

...that dream i had of someone falling into the el trax and right before my eyes he got hit; his head twisted 180 degrees and came off as train 1189 came at high speed @ Allegheny station...

I hate subways!!!!

At least we aren't WMATA - they are having a heck of a time down there, not including but not limited to that awful train crash in my "hood".

That's likely because they were completely packed from 15th St/Spring Garden. The EL being shut down in Center City in the peak of rush hour is never a good thing.
