I don't understand why NJT chose the 403 to cut back from Center City to Camden. That route seems to carry a lot of people over the bridge. They should choose a route like the 401/402/410/412 (at least one of those routes, not all four) or even the 406. I'd also like to know NJT's reasoning for this scheme, but that's all but impossible since they don't hold public hearings on these routing changes like virtually every other transit system... |

I guess the 403 riders are getting their last treats this week - saw 7515 on the line on the Market St leg of the loop at 5:30. In my sightings of this service, it's almost always a Flx Metro. |

One would think 405 would be a good candidate for cutting back as it was a NJ-only route for quite a while, and 407 would easily fill in on the Federal St/Maple Ave etc corridor. I'm also not getting the rationale behind 403 unless the ridership has dropped that much - I recall the White Horse Pike corridor was always somewhat strong in transit usage. |

probably because of the Broad and Vine intersection that causes every route that goes by there to be late |

I was getting some shots of the NABI's this afternoon and 3 403's were within 3 blocks of one another starting at 6th & Market at about 5:05. They are on 15-minute headways at that time of day and hadn't even gotten to the 'roadblock' at Broad & Vine (and two of them were running NABI's). Market St westbound is the source of many delays and it seems to be getting worse all the time - not sure why. I took the 62 on Monday from 8th St and we crawled up Market - found that some cars parked in the bus lane at the Marriott were the culprits, but the op told me it's something different every day. |

Speaking of the 403, throughout the day yesterday, they were making announcements that the 403 was now boarding inside WRTC. I didn't realize they had exterior speakers at WRTC... |
