Sunday I was riding 310. It appears an automated voice announcement system was installed on board. I did hear Rabbit Transit is getting them. And looking at the drivers area I saw something new that was made by a company called dds. So that may be the screen to the voice announcement systems. So it looks like minor TAs are now getting them on buses. But unfortuntely the system on 310 wasnt activated at the time. RRTA and CAT are suppose to have them but they were never yet activated. And DARTs. Its not as good of a system as the systems WMATA, Bmore MTA, and SEPTA have. And I dont know how dds announcement systems are. Orbitols I know have Welcome to Route XX service to. XXXXXXXX. And Clever Devices its Route XX Destination XXXXX. Some cases theres Welcome aboard before or after the route and destination announcements. WMATAs is only Route J2. Destination. Silver Spring. And Bmore MTAs. Route 8. Destination. University of Maryland Transit Center. Welcome Aboard MTA.
