Good luck, I followed these developments in the mid-80's...I remember SEPTA put out RFPs to privatize the line...one interesting item, I remember reading a news article in the Daily News about one private operator who was willing to operate it using rail buses built by British Leyland...they were going to open a manufacturing facility in Richmond, Va...there was an artist's conception of the buses, but unfortunately it never came to fruition.

The Fox chase-Newtown Line was abandoned in 1983.
In 1996 , SEPTA showed this shuttle bus.
