I'm heading out to the city on that date listed above since I'll be at Mann Center in the morning for Philadelphia Care Day. I'm taking the R5 Thorndale/Paoli Line down to Market East, transfer to Route 38 and get off at 45th and Parkside (or go little further down and get off), and take a short walk there to the meeting point of the event. Then after the event, I planned on returning back to Center City and head to Camden (hope to ride one of NJT's NEW NABI bus). Then, I'm going to call it a day.

For videos, I'm make a short video about two minutes to do it quick to avoid getting hooked again.

Could probably take it down to Overbrook Train station and catch the 65 and 52 and get off at 52nd street and Jefferson/or get off 65 at Belmont and take the route 40 to 52nd street and parkside. I wouldn't recommend taking the route 38 to there. Thats a good hike from 45th street/Belmont to 52nd street and it's not the very best of neighborhoods.

Heading down to Center city? Take the route 40 from there straight down and take the MFL or you could stay on and head down South street.

Or if you are running late, Alternative scenario, get off at Overbrook train station and walk to 63rd and Malvern and take the route 10 down to 52nd and Lancaster.

I talk to my friends on how to get there in a discussion and by using my plan to get there can help save me a hassle, including eliminating the need of lots of transfers, walking and turning to other streets if get lost. I planned out this plan with friends to make my travel connivence.

And then, I'm thinking of going to the Jersey and I can get there anytime need lift to Camden, just hope I can ride one of NJ Transit'S New NABI 416. And then, walk near the river in an area just near the station of River Line Train.

In regards to the NABIs, you likely will be able to catch one if you wait long enough...don't just hop the first bus (MCI) you see.

You'll likely find them on the 403, perhaps the 400, even the 406.

You may want to just buy an Independence Pass instead (they should sell them at Wayne - presuming that's the station you're starting off from). Round-trip between Wayne and CCP on weekends is $8.00 (same price as on-board fare between Wayne and Overbrook - advance purchase is $6.00), so you'd get your money's worth from an Independence Pass (at $10) for your round-trip RRD ride and for your first bus trip.

I agree with getting off at Overbrook to connect with the 65; I think the better option would be going to 54-City and connecting with the 52 (8-10 minute headways), since that has more frequent Saturday service than the 40 (30 minute headways. BTW, headways on the 65 are 15-20 minutes.

I know the 40 gets you closer to the Mann than the 52, but it's probably just as fast to walk from 52-Jefferson to the Mann rather than go further north on the 65 to Belmont (technically, you can't really transfer from the 65 to the 40).

As far as NJT's NABIs are concerned, your best bet is the 400, since the 406 is a predominently MCI line. That said, there's a chance that Newton Ave will start getting their NABIs by the time the 17th rolls around, so they might show up on the 404, 405, and 407 by that time. Until then, the 400 is your best bet for catching a NABI from Center City to Camden.
