I did hear from one driver that Rabbit Transit is suppose to get new 35ft buses but I dont know if its necessarily true. Another tells me he doesnt know when Rabbit Transit will get new buses again. It wouldnt surprise me if they tested out 2 hybrid demos. They did test out 2 CNG Demos in 97 built by New Flyer. Hopefully they will test out hybrid transit buses. DART. It wouldnt surprise me if the 2008 diesel order was their last straight diesel order to be purchased. |

Long story how that became about - the EPA 2010 engines has stricter emission devices versus the earlier models. There was a huge throw back though with the exhaust heating up to degrees which could make trees etc catch on fire. Well that's one of the reasons why these exhaust system has a "blow torch" type of design. |

You know now that u metioned that one driver did say something about the exhausts systems melting other parts in the rear but i didnt think it was due to the throw back damn that bus gave off some serious throwback. |
