I think the Rt. 77, 35, 310, 402 and the 316 A.K.A L.U.C.Y, also the Rt. 91 these routes are heavy hitters that I think these Routes will need 45 second headways during Rush Hour where should be ran with Neoplan Articulated.

 6, 9, 14, 18, 22, 26, 48, 55, 60 65, 80, C already use artics, where have you been? They can't be 100% artic due to there not enough Neo's to go around, and they don't always need one 100% of the time.

Let's be realistic. There are times along routes 35 where ridership patterns are so small that all you would need is a pick up truck to pick up the few riders that are out there on the corners.

The 310: Let the 310 become incorporated into the 55 and that will solve this issue. No more 310. Trips would be designated as 55:HORSHAM via WILLOW GROVE.

The 91? Simply make it on an hourly headway on Saturdays.

Interestingly, I think that Frontier actually has the space to house at least 10 units.

No, for these reasons:

1) Not everyone takes the 55. There are people that come off the 22, the R2, and even the 98 to transfer to the 310.

2) The 55 is unreliable. The bus is consistently late!

3) Higher operating costs? The ridership during the midday and Saturday is fairly low. What would be the point of running big route 55 buses at this time?

In regards to the 310, why did I see Champion Defenders running on the line? The route is OVERCROWDED! I hope they aren't putting it on the 8:27 departure from the mall....that needs at least a 40 footer!

I could see artics - if not full-time, but at least on a majority of trips - on the 17, 52, 70, and the R. One route that didn't get mentioned is the 40. Sometimes, that can get a little crowded, at least between Conshohocken/Ford and 40 St El Station.

Do you really want to try putting an artic on the 23? Those snakes would have a hell of a time getting up the hill.

True, but they ran for 10 years on the 9, 27, and 65 without severe problems for the most part. They'd be rather slow in general on the 23, though.

4) ...Route 80!!!!!!!!!!
Thank you - that's the most important reason!

By the way, they should really look into adjusting the times for the 80, adding another AM and PM trip after the current end of service. Those El Dorados get PACKED on specific trips (I can easily point them out) and an extra 80 bus would solve the problem.

I cringe as I imagine that some of the Champions might be carrying those huge passenger loads right now.
