First production units of Silverliner V arrived in Philadelphia

On October 21st, the first of the production units of the Silverliners has arrived in Philadelphia. From there they go to Rotem in South Philadelphia to received additional equipment and then will be delivered to SEPTA.

The 3 cars that arrived this week are shells and have to be completed. The 3 prototype or test cars 701, 801-802 won't be here until December or January!

Those cars are going to look like those pilot cars testing in South Korea. Can't wait to see them operating on the R5 Thorndale Line where I ride them mostly when heading out to CCP.
